Xanax Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If
it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your
usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

It basically calms you down so you can deal with whatever is happening. It
is an absolute life saver to people like me. I do not take it every day,
so I can not speak to dependency concerns. On a side note, my dog is
